**Instructions:**

**Ingredients Required:**
– Henna powder (100 grams for short hair, 200 grams for shoulder-length hair, 300 grams for long hair)
– Indigo powder (100 grams for short hair, 200 grams for shoulder-length hair, 300 grams for long hair)
– Juice from 1 lemon
– Salt (1 teaspoon)

**Step 1: Henna Application**
1. In a mixing bowl, blend the henna powder with the lemon juice.
2. Gradually incorporate water while stirring until you achieve a thick, pudding-like consistency.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow it to sit overnight to enable the dye to release from the henna.
4. Wrap an old towel around your shoulders and don rubber gloves.
5. Section your hair as desired and secure the sections with clips.
6. Taking one section at a time, use a hair coloring brush to apply the henna from the roots to the tips.
7. Twist the section into a small curl and pin it to your scalp.
8. After applying henna to all sections, distribute any remaining henna throughout your hair, ensuring complete coverage with your hands.
9. Wear a shower cap.
10. Allow the henna to sit for a duration of 2 hours to overnight.
11. Rinse the henna out using only water; refrain from using shampoo or conditioner.

**Step 2: Indigo Application**
1. Combine the indigo powder and salt, then gradually add water until you form a thick paste.
2. Section your hair again and apply the indigo paste in the same manner as the henna.
3. Cover your hair with a shower cap and let it sit for 4 to 6 hours.
4. Rinse the indigo paste out with water, avoiding shampoo or conditioner for the next 2-3 days.
5. Note that the deep black color of your hair may take a few days to fully manifest.
